From March 23rd to April 21st, EUROAVIA Napoli “Umberto Nobile”, in collaboration with the Department of Aerospace Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II, delivered Flight Club, a workshop centered on applied aeronautical design methodologies.
The initiative engaged five teams of students in the development of a wing and tail configuration for the PROSIB model aircraft.
The key phases of the workshop were:
• Lectures and Design activities, supported by tools such as JavaFoil, OpenVSP, and Fusion
• Manufacturing, including the use of 3D-printed components
• Partner Day, providing valuable interaction with industry representatives
• Wind tunnel testing, enabling the validation of theoretical work
• Final evaluation and awards, recognizing the achievements of the participating teams
